‘Improved’ flight schedules for Air France Cape Town flights
Tuesday, 17 May 2011
Air France has confirmed new “improved” flight schedules for its Cape Town to Paris flights, due to start on November 3.

Flights will now depart Paris at 23h30, arriving in Cape Town at 11h40. Services will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Flights from Cape Town will now depart at 19h35, arriving in Paris at 05h55. Services will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Flights will be operated by a 309-seat B777-200, with 35 seats in business-class, 24 seats in the Premium Voyageur cabin and 250 seats in Voyageur (economy). Customers will be able to enjoy the new Air France business-class seat, which is more than two metres long and 61cm wide.

The new route forms part of Air France and KLM’s growth strategy on the African continent, with four new destinations this year – Freetown (Sierra Leone), Monrovia (Liberia), Bata (Equatorial Guinea) and Cape Town. These new destinations bring to 38 the number of African cities served in winter 2011.
